Sacha Toronyi
Sacha was brought up in a small town in Zimbabwe and most of his youth was spent at a rural boarding school where he developed a keen interest in insects, birds and photography. He has travelled to most other countries in Southern Africa doing road and camping trips through all National Parks in Namibia and Botswana and over the years he has privately guided four day walking trails through the countries national parks, concentrating on everything that is involved in Africa's wildlife and the environment. He has also been involved with Lion and Wild Dog research teams in and around the parks.
His passion grew over the years and his knowledge and enthusiasm later directed him to follow a career as a guide.
He is a fully licensed Zimbabwean professional guide.
He has been guiding and managing camps in Zimbabwe for the last 10 years, since 1997.
Sacha has done specialist birding walks and mobile walking trails through Zimbabwe’s largest national parks.
Sacha has a very strong interest and passion in birding, astronomy, entomology and botany.
