Sean Lues

Sean Lues was brought up on the family dairy farm in the south of Zimbabwe, which he also worked on after leaving a rural boarding school in Zimbabwe. This furthered his interest in bird watching and wildlife.

He has been guiding and managing camps in Zimbabwe and its neighbouring countries since 1991, everything from fly camping and walking trails to up-market two-week accompanied trips.

Sean was awarded the 'Guide of the Year' trophy in 1994, presented by the Zimbabwe Professional Hunters and Guides Association for the best guide out of the final (proficiency) examinations. Recently he has been an examiner at these weeklong proficiency examinations.

He has a strong interest in photography and has had photos published in two books and various magazines. He has also spent a month in Belize, Central America, during which he was tasked with photographing their National Parks for promotional and advertising material by the Belize Audubon Society, who have the management contract for all the National Parks in Belize.
