Tamlyn Toronyi

Tamlyn Toronyi was born in the capital city of Zimbabwe and her passion stemmed from her experiences and adventures with her family in the bush during her childhood. Her parent’s interest of the bush and their passion for wildlife and the environment was passed down to her and she chose to follow her heart and settle down in the place she loves.

After school Tamlyn decided to continue her interest and she travelled down to Cape Town, South Africa to do a Travel & Tourism Diploma.

On completing this Diploma in South Africa she spent the next 3 years living and working in the UK. She managed to travel around Europe thus broadening and increasing her knowledge and passion of different cultures and environments.

At the end of her three years she travelled back to Zimbabwe where she applied for a position in a Safari camp. She has spent the last 6 years in the Safari Industry, Managing and hostessing in 4 seperate safari camps in all National Parks of her home country. She has also been closely involved with the Lion Research projects which has enabled her to get closer to her passion.
